Living Tea Service


A few months back I dined at Saison in San Francisco and enjoyed a tisane service of fresh foraged herbs at the beginning of the meal. This dish got me thinking about the possiblitly of creating a living log of medicinal herbs that could be presented to the guest and harvested for them at the table. My first log features reishi mushroom (for boosting the immune system), Mugwort (to promote lucid dreaming, Chammomile (for calming), Rosemary (to boost awareness) and Lemon Verbena and Wild Mint because they are delicious!
